Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon

In the United States, bourbon is known as America’s Native Spirit since it must be produced domestically. There are numerous well-known names in bourbon, and it’s interesting to try them all. Elijah Craig Small Batch is a popular choice among whiskey connoisseurs of all stripes. Because it’s a good value and a good representative of this whiskey type, it should be a regular in everyone’s booze collection.

As the name suggests, it’s made by Heaven Hill Distillery in Kentucky, which was founded by a clergyman and one of the country’s first whiskey distillers. Eight to 12 years in the making, this 94-proof whiskey is a result of that time. It’s velvety smooth, with hints of vanilla and caramel, and a woody flavour that lingers on the finish. Toasty and delightfully sweet, its lingering finish entice you back for more. Even when served neat, Elijah Craig’s bourbon is outstanding when mixed into a cocktail.

Old Forester

Cheap whiskey may burn your taste buds and throat, whilst good whiskey can eat away at your cash. It’s important to make an informed decision while searching for a good deal in a Single Malt Irish Whisky. Old Forester Bourbon’s flagship bottle is a good option. Although this 86-proof expression comes from a renowned distillery in Kentucky, it’s a wonderful value for the money.

This bottle of Old Forester is not only the most popular, but also the oldest. Since its introduction in 1870, it has not altered and even survived Prohibition, which shut down or entirely wiped out several distilleries. While it starts off with an oaky bite, it gradually softens into an oaky sweetness before ending with a spicy, vanillas combination. Simply said, it’s a good whiskey to have on hand for any occasion.

Bulleit 95 Rye Whiskey

Bulleit Whiskey is referred to as “Frontier Whiskey” because of its rustic appeal. Kentucky’s distillery’s bourbon features an unusually high percentage of rye in its grain bill: 17 percent. Bulleit Rye is a better choice if you’re looking for a pure rye whiskey with a kick.

A mash bill of 95 percent whiskey and 5 percent malted barley is used to make this whiskey. It’s a lot more delicious since it’s bottled at 90 proof (45% alcohol by volume), which makes it more potent. When you take your first sip of this brew, you’ll notice that rye is a peppery grain. This is followed by mellow hints of vanilla and honey until the bouquet of flavours comes to a sharp, lengthy conclusion. Classic rye whiskey drinks like the Sazerac may be made with it since it’s reasonably priced compared to other premium whiskeys.

George Dickel Barrel

Almost all of Tennessee whiskey is produced in two huge distilleries. In addition to Jack Daniels, George Dickel creates numerous notable whiskeys. The Barrel Select expression is a marvel to see at the top of the distillery’s repertoire.

While Tennessee whiskey is extremely similar to bourbon, the Lincoln County Method of charcoal blissed the whiskey sets it apart from the others. It takes the distillery’s stock of ten- to 12-year-old whiskies for each small batch of Barrel Select. Tennessee Whiskey is a smooth, rich, 86-proof whiskey made from the finest “best of the best” whiskeys, which are then mixed together to produce a distinctive flavour profile. Considering its renown, this whiskey is not too expensive and is a terrific choice for drinking.
