I have been a business coach full time for more than 15 years, but I have never felt that I had enough clients to be an interior design contractor. As a result, I am always looking to expand my business and find new, more exciting and rewarding ways to get clients. I believe this has made me a better designer and teacher than I ever was before.

I like to think of interior design as a business because it is one of the most unique industries in the world. For instance, there is no other industry that is built on so many different types of people and concepts. For me, the most important thing is to be able to create a client-centric environment, because when you meet with the right client, the right project, and the right price, there is no other way to go.
But don’t get me wrong, I can’t stand the corporate world. I don’t want to work for a company that is run by a bunch of executives who are all just trying to get their way. I feel that the only people who have any kind of influence are the most motivated people, and that the most motivated people are the people in management. But I also feel that the people who are not in management are the ones who are best in the market.
I’ve known for a long time that design is the key to success, but I’ve never really understood this. If an individual is passionate and driven to achieve success, it makes sense that they should stick to what they do best. The problem is that people usually think that the only people who can really get things done are those who manage things well. But this is like thinking that those who are passionate about making money are the ones who have the best chance at success.
The best people in the market are those who can do things better than others. A lot of what we do is very manual, not a lot of it is just “get the job done”. We do a lot of the work ourselves but we also get other people involved. When we get people to help us, we do things better than we did alone. For example, the best interior designer in the market is one who can do a better job than his or her own assistants.
